Visit to Samangan Health Emergency Team
A team from Union Aid's main office, including the Executive Director and a representative from the Balkh office, visited the Samangan Health Emergency Team, which serves earthquake-affected communities in the northern region. Over one month, this team—comprising a male doctor, a female doctor, a midwife, and a nurse—provided services to nearly 1,300 beneficiaries, including outpatient consultations, trauma care, wound dressing, and psychosocial counseling.
Residents of Tashuqurghan District expressed gratitude for Union Aid's prompt support and highlighted the urgent need for continued services due to inadequate health facilities in the area.
In response, Union Aid's leadership committed to sustaining these essential services to meet the ongoing health needs of the affected communities.
