TENDER NOTICE FOR RENOVATION OF SIX BHCs

Union Aid was established in 1979. It was one of the pioneer organizations serving Afghan refugees in Pakistan by providing regular support in health, nutrition, WASH, education, livelihood, emergency response, environmental protection, and much more such as:

These programs were implemented with the support of different donors including UN agencies such as UNHCR, WHO, WFP, UNFPA, and international organizations such as MI, IRC, Care International, Canada Fund, AFV, Otto Benecke Foundation, and many others. Besides in the 1980s Union Aid was providing health programs in all provinces of Afghanistan. Currently, Union Aid implements various projects in health, livelihood, education, rehabilitation of basic infrastructures, and humanitarian response projects in more than 13 provinces of Afghanistan.

Union Aid invites sealed tenders from registered suppliers for the supply of the following items at six BHCs of Mazar-e-Sharif Afghanistan.

Terms & Conditions:

1.      Tender documents can be collected from Hous#09, Street #02 of Balkh University, District#06, Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. From 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday. The tender pack can also be down loaded from our website www.unionaid.org and www.acbar.org. Tender document can also be collected by sending email request to info@unionaid.org

2.      Sealed tenders should reach Hous#09, Street #02 of Balkh University, District#06, Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. before 04:00 PM hours on 03th March 2024 and should be clearly marked “TENDER - Not to be opened before “09:30 AM on 04th March 2024

3.      Tenders will be opened on i.e., 04th March 2024 at Time 9:30 AM hrs. in the presence of suppliers or their representatives, who wish to witness the tender opening.

4.      In case a public holiday is announced by the Government (Due to any reason) the tender will be opened the next working day at the same time and venue.

5.      Only qualified supplier will be asked for providing samples.

6.      The Supplier must quote only one option for each item. Bids received with more than one options and rates must be rejected.

7.      Tender committee reserves the right to change the quantities or cancel/reject any or all offers without assigning any reason, if any selected bidder refuses to accept the order for the offered lot/lots or refuses to sign the contract

8.      Suppliers must not be engaged in any corrupt, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practices including but not limited to applying/ bidding by multiple names / companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in such practices his/her bid may be rejected and the companies in question permanently black listed

9.      Lowest price will not be the sole criteria for selection. Quality, delivery time and previous experience will also be considered. (Refer to tender pack document number 2 for evaluation criteria)

10.   All values in unit price column should be entered carefully. In case there is any discrepancy between unit price and total amount, value put in unit price column will govern.

11.   Payment details of the supplier must be clear stated e.g. to which bank account cheque must be transferred.

12.   Any shortage of any required items in market or inflation problems will negatively impact Union Aid supplies, Supplier is expected to inform the shortage of Renovation items at the time (15 days before the supply date). Union aid will select the alternative available brand.

13.   The renovation items should be supply and installaed at Khorasan, Nawshad, Choghdak, Yolmarab, Baba Yadgar and Panjshir BHCs of Mazar-e-sharif Afghanistan.
